Meditation

Sources of inspiration

With the explosion in wellness practices in recent years, there is a plethora of meditation retreats, as well as meditation teachers and styles. I have often considered ‘what style’ I do, but as it has evolved over time, it has elements that are common across different ‘styles’.

To give you a taste of my meditation ‘palette’, it ranges from mindfullness to elements of zen, vipassana, yoga nidra, and shamanic practices.

Feel free to reach out if you’d like me to guide you individually or in a group.

1. Awareness meditation

A meditation to put into perspective that we are not our body, nor our feelings or our thoughts. This is read directly from Sandra Ingerman’s book “Medicine for the Earth”.

  • Start with this part of the meditation (i.e. the first part of the meditation below) to practice the basics.
  • When you can access and make contact with the ‘unchanged’ part within yourself, expand your ability (the full meditation, including the first part).
